William C. Ford’s (grandson of Henry Ford) Mark II

My car was painted many years ago from original medium blue iridescent (below) to something close to this color on the left, which Bill Ford made popular.

Original Color: Medium Blue Iridescent

The car on the right shows the original color of my Mark II. It was a special order color (D19). Only about 20 cars were sold in this color.

The wheels still sport this color as does the inside of the engine compartment. The iridescent quality in the paint was quite special.
